As a person I have stories to tell; as an artist I look for ways to share these stories, but I am no author. So, I don’t tell the viewer my stories, I show them, but I do not give all of the details or plot points. With my photos I capture an image, I present the story to the viewer for them to piece the details together, the gaps and missing information offering opportunities for the viewer to interpret and even create their own version. I create an open experience for the viewer to have an active role in, each viewer experiencing something slightly different. Each person is different and brings a unique take on things, owing to their unique individual life experience. I try to hand the ability to depict the story to the individual.
